Pattern Energy is proud to be part of Comanche County. Our Logan’s Gap Wind facility is an investment in the region that is creating many economic benefits, including jobs and substantial growth in the tax base.
The wind facility commenced commercial operations in September 2015 and uses 87 American-made Siemens turbines to generate clean, renewable energy for Texas. The nacelles and hubs were manufactured in Kansas, the blades were made in Iowa, and a majority of the towers were built at Broadwind Energy in Abilene, Texas.
We believe in giving back to the communities where we operate facilities. In addition to the Logan’s Gap Wind Community Benefits Program, we support local causes through sponsorships. Please let us know if you have a cause you recommend we support.
