Pattern Energy’s Logan’s Gap Wind facility is located in Comanche County and commenced commercial operations in September 2015. The facility sells a majority of its output to Walmart under a 10-year power purchase agreement.
Logan’s Gap Wind utilizes 87 Siemens turbines to generate clean, renewable energy for Texas. The nacelles and hubs were manufactured in Kansas, the blades were made in Iowa, and a majority of the towers came from Broadwind in Abilene, Texas.
